Emily Drennan

Emily Drennan serves as the Director of Operations for the Kate Waddell Group, where she leads the systems, processes, and client experience that define the team’s signature level of service. She ensures that every listing and buyer journey feels organized, supported, and stress free for both clients and agents, guiding each transaction with clarity, structure, and care.

Originally from New Orleans, Emily has proudly called Chicago home for the past eight years. Before transitioning into real estate, she spent five years as a Pre K teacher in Chicago Public Schools, a role that shaped her communication style, patience, and ability to guide people through meaningful decisions.

Growing up around the residential construction business, Emily always had a natural connection to real estate. While teaching, she earned her real estate license in 2021 and later moved into the industry full time in 2023. She quickly discovered a passion for the operational side of the business and transitioned into transaction management, where she oversaw contracts, timelines, and the many moving parts of each deal with a calm, detail oriented approach.

Emily joined the Kate Waddell Group in 2024 and plays a key role within the women-run and women-led team, which has achieved more than $825M in career sales. She is dedicated to thoughtful workflows, clear communication, and strong operational foundations, helping clients and agents feel informed, supported, and confident during one of life’s most meaningful milestones.
